Dallas Ministry seeking AV Media Assistant

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain documents with audio/video requests forms.
  • Maintains  news request forms, business network advertisements and event scheduling,
  • Maintain records of invoices, rental, repairs, logging tapes, general maintenance and profits made by sales of the A/V department.
  • Will assist in some events where his/her skills set will allow video production, light and sound.
  • Aids professional staff by coordinating office services, simplifying recordkeeping procedures, handling routine correspondence. May assist in preparing reports, budgets, policies, and training programs.
  • Office position of general routine nature. Usually includes filing, sorting, maintaining records, providing information, running errands, general typing of letters, operating basic office machines, and answering phones. Related tasks as assigned. Some word processing and data entry.
  • Perform other administrative and clerical support functions.
  • A working knowledge of media types, including audio, and video, a plus.

 Education and/or Experience                                                

  • High school degree and two years experience in field or completion of specialized training. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

 Computer Skills                                             

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel

 Other Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to communicate and relate well with team members.
  • Ability to use a computer.
  • Ability to use technology to complete daily and assigned tasks appropriate for the position.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others.
